Artist uses Brainwaves to Manipulate Water

Amazing geometrical water display of human emotions.

South Korean Artist Lisa Park has come up with an interesting new art form. Her performance art, called Eunoia, meaning “Beautiful Thinking”, uses 48 pools of water, inspired by the 48 emotions, which react to emotional brainwaves transmitted from her body, and read by sensors.

Linked up to an EEG brainwave detecting sensor which detects the brainwaves she is putting out in real time, and then broadcasts them as sound, she creates rippling movements in the different pools resulting in her unique art. In this way she makes an audio-visual representation of herself and her emotional state.
